Do you believe all the emails you receive!!?  You shouldn’t – and, hopefully YOU don’t (but you’d be surprised how many people DO!).

There are some spammers trying to entice you into making expensive telephone calls – to collect your higher degrees, even PhD’s just waiting for you to collect them.  All you have to do is make an international telephone call.  You don’t have to do any study or work to qualify.  Just make a telephone call!

But you’d be silly making that call – especially to people promising higher degrees – when they can’t even spell what they’re promoting:

REALLY??!!

The above promises are absolutely worthless – it will cost you a fortune to make the calls and leave your details – and they are unlikely to call you back (that would cost THEM). 

Offering phoney degrees is NOT new – it was there long before the Internet – and we proved how easy it was to get worthless degrees, which some people used in order to impress the uninformed.  After sending some money to the USA our Director, in May 1983, received his (worthless) honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree, AS DID our cat (at the time) Smokey van Leen – no questions asked.  For a time our cat, Dr. Smokey DD, was the most theologically ‘qualified’/’accredited’ cat in Australia.

The true worth of persons is not some piece of paper that gives them ‘thingymees’ before, and/or after, their names.  Genuine hard earned diplomas and degrees come from years of hard study and research – genuine honorary degrees are awarded in recognition of proven years of hard work, expertise or contributions in recognised fields of human endeavour. In either case, they are NOT available through a telephone call or Internet invitation.
